Downloading (Draft) Assets

This article describes the ability to download a Draft asset's source file

Written by Bram Timmers

When an asset is still in a Draft status (either new, edit, or new version) - Cohero users can still download the asset in various formats:

The original (source) file

While in Draft, users who are collaborating on an asset have the ability to download the uploaded source file in its original file format (eg: PPTX, PNG, etc). It will download the file in exactly the condition as it was uploaded. Any comments or change requests pinned on it in Cohero will not be reflected on that file.

A Web-optimized PDF (watermarked)

While in Draft, users can download the asset as a Web-optimized PDF too. These downloads will automatically have a Cohero watermark applied to them.
