Options in Reviewing available assets

This article describes the actions available, when reviewing available assets

Written by Bram Timmers

There's many factors that could spark a review of available assets, such as:

  • Planned (periodical) review

  • Intellectual Property Rights expiry

  • Changes to a product or propositions

  • Competitive dynamics

  • New positioning of a brand, or a product

  • The asset's expiry date is approaching

  • And many more

For whatever reason you choose to review an available assets, here are the options available in Cohero:

  • Joint triage: Collaborate with others to determine the best path. This may include creating tasks, marking up the assets, and possibly leaving comments behind to support the triage effort. More here

  • Edit this version: When the asset itself is fine, but (only) the asset info or attachments need updating, one can choose to 'Edit this version'. More here

  • Create a new version: When the asset itself needs (minor or major) updates, one can choose to create a new version. More here

  • Withdraw this version: In some cases, the asset offers a reason to be pulled off from where it's offered to customers, perhaps in the situation of regulatory changes. In those cases, available assets can be withdrawn. More here

  • Let the version expire: When an asset no longer poses any value, and does not have to be replaced by a newer version - one can simply choose to let the asset expire naturally. In this scenario, the asset will change its status to 'Expired' on the expiry date specified in its asset info.
